Your details, handled thoughtfully.
Dearest Day stores the wedding details a host publishes and the guest details needed to manage that celebration. This page describes the current edition.
What is saved
Wedding names, dates, venues, stories, notes, media links, and timelines are saved on the server. Guest names, party limits, table assignments, first-open timestamps, attendance, dietary preferences, and messages are also stored. The host can view and export their guest responses.
Who can see your information
Anyone with the general invitation link can view the wedding details. Anyone with a personal guest link can view and update that household’s response. Only the signed-in invitation owner can manage the invitation and read its guest list. Keep personal guest links private when appropriate.
Your browser
Sign-in uses a secure, HTTP-only session cookie, which expires after seven days. Your password is stored as a salted password hash rather than plain text. Sessions can be revoked by signing out or changing your password. There are no advertising cookies or third-party analytics. Sign in again to access your invitations on another device.
Account & transfer details
We store your name, email, plan access, payment reference, and submitted bank transaction references, transfer dates, and notes. Administrators can review these details to check payments and grant plans. Administrative changes are recorded in an audit history. You do not enter online banking passwords, card details, or banking login credentials here.
External services
Opening maps or sharing on WhatsApp takes you to those providers. Custom photos and audio load from the URLs chosen by the host and may expose your IP address to the media provider. Built-in imagery and fonts are served locally.
Retention and requests
The site operator controls database backups and retention. Data is retained until the operator deletes it; there is no automatic deletion schedule in this edition. Guests should contact their wedding hosts using the contact information on the invitation to request changes or deletion. Hosts should contact the operator of this installation.
